JIGNASA - Homoeoapthic Academic Curiosity, a voluntary academic group locally known as FRIDAY GROUP of VIZAG, in association with Institute of Practicing Homoeopathy (IPH), a voluntary Homoeopathic Medical Academic Organisation organized a one day programme JIGNASA on 27th Mar, 2011 at A/c Conference Hall, Platinum Jubilee Guest House, Andhra University Campus VISAKHAPATNAM. Andhra Pradesh.
Dr. C. P. Satya Prasad, Academic advisor, IPH and Retired Profesor of Dr. G.G.H. Medical college, Gudivada garlanded the Portrait of Dr Samuel Hahnemann.Dr. M V L Naramsimha Rao, President, IIHP State branch, inaugurated the seminar by lightning the jyothi. Dr. Dinesh Chauhan, Dr. B S Venkateswara Rao, Dr. B. S. Mohan, Dr.Santhi also participated in lightening jyothi.
Dr. DINESH CHAUHAN, an associate of Dr.RajanSankaran and Publisher of many books, International Teacher, who visited many countries to teach Homoeopathy, delivered his exclusive work on SYMPTOM to SENSATION – Complete Pattern. He presented his live recorded cases of STEROID RESISTANT ASTHMA in a teenage girl. He stressed the importance of case taking and observation of various activities of the patient during the consultation. He showed the case analysis with the points recorded during case taking. He also presented another case of CONSTIPATION, which is contrary to the case presented earlier, in which patient did not talk or respond verbally to the case taking physician for more than 42 minutes. He stressed the importance of waiting and observing the non verbalactivities of the patient during consultation period. He trained all the participants in analysing the cases presented on audio visual method during the seminar. He also tried to fill the gap between Old and New Classical Homoepathic concepts.
Dr. Y. HANUMANTHA RAO, executive of JIGNASA, introduced its members and their activities to the audience. Dr. B. S. MOHAN Director, IPH, , introduced its members and their activities to the audience. Dr.RANJANI LAL of JIGNASA taken the role of programme executive as Master of ceremony.Dr B. S. VENKATESWARA RAO of Visakhapatnam, Founder of JIGNASA, narrated the origin of their organisation, its development, taken up service programmes at their region. He promised the gathering to organise many more Homoeopathic academic activities with international teachers, in future.
During the seminar, DR. SANTHAMMA, PhD retired professor of Physics, Andhra University, narrated her experience with the Homoeopathy and her research in physics especially, related with Nano-technology and donated a sum of amount to Dr. CHAUHAN for their service activities. All the members of JIGNASA and Institute of Practicing Homoeopathy attended and taken up their responsibilities during the programme. The venue was fully packed with the participants who arrived all parts of the state and neighbouring states also. The etiquette of the entire programme was maintained well. The Literature and DVDs with experience of Dr Chauhan were made available at the venue for the participants. Dr. Suresh Somayajula presented vote of thanks.
